Son, brother and grandson will be missed.

Avon High School graduate, died on June 27, 2012. He planned to attend IUPUI in the fall. He is survived by his parents and two sisters.

Viewing: Sunday, July 1 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Crown Hill Funeral Home ,  Remembrance Hall. Funeral Mass: Monday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m. in Mary  Queen of Peace in Danville. Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Indiana Organ Procurement Organization.

Beloved husband, father and grandfather.

William Eugene Allis 75, of Indianapolis passed away July 21, 2005. Mr. Allis was born on October 11, 1929 in Anderson, Indiana, the son of Frank H. and Vivian (Day) Allis. William was an electrical engineering graduate of Purdue University, class of 1951. He was a Second Lieutenant in the U. S. Army signal corps during the Korean Conflict. He married Martha Wise June 19, 1955, and recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary. His employments included Production Control Manager at Diamond Chain, Administrator of Air Pollution Control of Marion County, and Special Projects Supervisor with the Division of Public Health, Indianapolis. A member of Second Presbyterian Church, he volunteered on their Care Team for AIDS through the Damien Center. He is survived by his wife; his children: Sheryl Overstreet, Marna Reutman, William H. and Daniel J. Allis; his sisters: Dorothy Gebbie and Helen Bovee`; and nine grandchildren: Shannon, Katharine and Joseph Allis, Joshua, Isaac, Christina and Jeremy Overstreet and Michael and Rebecca Reutman.

Jimmy Allen Shoemaker, 45, died Thursday, March 23, 2006, at East Texas Medical Center, Tyler, Texas, of natural causes. Survivors include his wife, Rita; three sons, Steven of Hawaii, and Jarrett and William, both of Warsaw; two stepdaughters, Nichole Staley of Warsaw and Danielle Trout of Roanne, Ind.; his mother, Carolyn (Miller) Shoemaker; his father, Paul; his stepmother, Bonnie Shoemaker of Claypool; two sisters, Candra Dorell of Powder Springs, Ga., and Kimberly Hunsberger of Etna Green; a brother, David of Bourbon; two half-brothers, Rick Moore of Missouri and Gene Miller of Richland, Mo.; a stepsister, Stacia Liegey of Orlando, Fla.; and a stepbrother, Mark R. Marti of Kendallville, Ind.
